Q. Do I need to book to attend a class?
A. To guarantee a space at the class of your choice we recommend you book online for individual classes or as a block booking.  Spaces are limited to ensure you receive the attention you deserve and to maintain social distancing for the safety of all participants.  Full details of booking options can be found here

Q. What if a class is cancelled?
A. In the event of a class being cancelled customers will be notified as soon as possible and any advance booking fees will be refunded or transferred to the following week or to a class and time that is suitable for you, whichever you prefer.

Q. What do I need during the class?
A. Please ensure you have a bottle of water and towel. Mats are provided at classes however you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Q. What should I wear for a Pilates class?
A. Loose comfortable clothing that doesn’t restrict movement e.g. leggings and tee shirt 

Q. I’ve never done a class before can I still join?
A. Yes, classes are suitable for all participants, participants work at different levels that are suitable for them.

Q. What will Pilates help me to achieve?
A. Pilates will help to develop lean strong muscles, core stability, flexibility, balance and improved posture. Benefits include improved fitness, a reduction in aches and pains, stress relief, improved sleep and increased energy.

Q. I’ve got a medical condition/disability will I be able to do the class?
A. Prior to attending your first class you will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire.  This is to ensure that the class is suitable for you, to provide suitable modifications if required and to advise you to seek medical advise if necessary. It very much depends on the nature of the condition but it doesn’t necessarily exclude you from classes. You should always discuss any areas of concern with your instructor Kris and keep her updated and you may need to seek medical advice from your GP or health professional.

Q. Is there a maximum or minimum age that can do the class?
A. Yes, participants need to be aged 16 or above, there’s no maximum age.

Q. What time should I arrive?
A. 10 minutes before the class begins.
